Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures including general, GYN, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology.
• Assist in surgical scrub and circulating duties, maintaining sterile protocols and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, utilize shared equipment, and maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
• Support a positive and flexible team environment, contributing to high standards of patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of scrub or circulating experience in a surgical setting.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas or applicable state license.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to work 13-week contract periods with weekend shifts, including call requirements as specified.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with robotics, neuro, ortho, trauma surgeries.
• Knowledge of a variety of surgical procedures and patient populations.
• Prior experience with a hospital setting performing high-acuity surgeries.
