Job Title: Cath Lab/EP Technologist

Location: Peoria, IL

Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for specialized radiologic procedures, passing instruments to physicians as a scrub tech.
• Position patients, explain procedures, and ensure proper setup to facilitate diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Operate complex radiology equipment, including cine angiography and digital subtraction devices, adjusting controls for optimal imaging.
• Transfer and archive imaging data securely into the patient’s electronic records system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor patients' cardiovascular and pulmonary functions during procedures, recognizing abnormal readings and alerting physicians as needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks, minor repairs, and inform maintenance teams of malfunctions to ensure safety and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of two years post-high school training at an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience performing radiologic special procedures.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and proper patient care techniques for various age groups.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with physiologic monitoring systems and hemodynamic data interpretation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
