Night shifts, 13-week contract, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER setting
- Administer treatments including trauma interventions, airway support, and central monitoring
- Utilize MEDITECH EMR to document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow established unit policies, dress codes, and safety protocols
- Maintain patient safety through adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state license
- BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications
- ER trauma experience and recent inpatient experience
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR is preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health patient care
- Familiarity with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
- Strong clinical skills in splinting, EKG interpretation, airway management, and resuscitation
