Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide postpartum care and monitor mother and newborn recovery following childbirth.
• Assess and document maternal and neonatal status, administer medications, and perform procedures such as IV antibiotics and blood transfusions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort during postpartum stay.
• Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation and communication.
• Educate patients on postpartum care, infant care, and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience in postpartum, mother-baby, or couplet care units.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience with Mother Baby Couplet Care.
• Knowledge of postpartum procedures such as assessments, IV therapy, Bili lights, and PCA use.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, busy clinical environment.

This 13-week contract position is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with start date projected for August 11, 2025. Relocation and travel support may be available for qualified candidates.
