Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Columbia, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit according to established standards and protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond promptly to other unit needs and assist with patient stabilization and transfers as necessary
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Valid SC or multi-state/compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Able to float within scope to meet facility needs, including between units or facilities if needed
• Patient care experience with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units
• Ability to accommodate block schedules upon manager’s approval
• Willingness to work every other weekend as required

• Open to local candidates within a 60-mile radius; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at a lower rate
• Hospital boasts 304 beds and uses a royal blue scrub uniform
• Parking is available at downtown lots and garages; no fee, with necessary parking passes distributed
• During hurricane season (June–November), employees may be called to emergency response teams
