Registered Nurse Mother Baby / Postpartum
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with postpartum recovery
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatments, and progress
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Georgia
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS or ALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal-newborn or postpartum nursing
- Strong clinical skills and ability to respond to emergency situations
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with maternal and newborn care in a hospital environment
- Familiarity with postpartum education and support services
