Schedule / Job Type
Rotating shifts, full-time, 36 hours per week, with both day and night shifts as needed. Includes 3–12 hour shifts and 2–12 hour call shifts per 4-week roster period. Flexibility required to float to other critical care and step-down units as staffing needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for ICU patients, including managing complex procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize ICU equipment and technology to monitor and support critically ill patients.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii RN license prior to start date, or ability to obtain upon acceptance of offer.
• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
• Ability to perform required procedures and work with ICU equipment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and call shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between critical care, step-down, and other units as needed.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
