Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language pathology assessments and therapy services to patients in a rehab and GERI setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs and improve communication and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as an SLP in a rehab or GERI setting.
• Strong clinical skills in speech therapy assessment and treatment.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid documentation requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Note: This is a 13-week assignment scheduled to start ASAP, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements.
