Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Burlington, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a high-acuity environment
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions based on physician orders and patient needs
• Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and update medical records accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support a compassionate and efficient environment for patients and their families

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience with STEMI and stroke patient care
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a STEMI and stroke center
• Knowledge of caring for special populations including cancer, sepsis, behavioral health, and medical emergencies
• Prior experience working in cath lab, women’s health, or stroke units
