Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and document surgical procedures in a busy operating room with 15+ suites in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Prepare sterile surgical sites, insert catheters, open sterile supplies, and position patients for various procedures.
• Set up and operate OR equipment including cautery, lasers, laparoscopic, arthroscopy, and navigation systems like Stealth for neuro cases.
• Document patient care and operative details using electronic record systems modeled after EPIC.
• Provide care for neuro, orthopedic, ENT, and general surgery procedures, ensuring compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Float to different units/departments as needed, including occasional coverage at satellite campuses.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in North Dakota or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds, trauma level 1).
• Experience working in an acute care facility with 15+ operating rooms, including neuro and ortho procedures.
• Proficiency with robotic surgery, particularly DaVinci systems.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to work 8- or 10-hour day shifts, with occasional extended hours, night rotation, and weekend calls.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Familiarity with navigation systems such as Stealth for neuro cases.
• Experience working in hospitals that utilize electronic charting systems similar to EPIC.
• Prior employment experience at Sanford Health (must specify in submission if applicable with an end date at least 6 months prior to application).
