Job Title: CVOR Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pump lines from perfusion for cannulation and ensure proper handling during surgical procedures.
• Assist in complex cardiovascular surgeries, including aortic repair, valve replacements, and heart transplants.
• Support surgical teams during cardiovascular operations in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
• Maintain and operate specialized surgical equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth procedural flow and patient safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-acuity surgical environment.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) certification or equivalent.
• Proven ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation.
• Experience with vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery cases, including EVAR, TAVR, and VAD procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted cardiac surgery and complex vascular procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with availability for occasional call shifts.
