Job Title: Tech - Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech
Location: Medford, OR
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, Contract, 16-week assignment with potential extension into January, travelers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct polysomnography studies to evaluate sleep disorders.
- Monitor and record patients' sleep patterns and related data during overnight shifts.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and thorough sleep assessments.
- Manage patient needs and comfort throughout the sleep study process.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Polysomnographer or Sleep Technician.
- Previous experience operating sleep study equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work nights, including Sunday night shifts.
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and associated diagnostic procedures.
- Basic charting skills; experience with Epic EMR is a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, short-term care environment.
- Flexibility to float between units as needed.
