Tech Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech
Job Title: Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform overnight polysomnography studies in an outpatient sleep clinic setting
- Monitor and record sleep patterns and vital signs for adult patients over 18 years old
- Utilize Compumedics sleep software to accurately capture sleep data
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care and quality data collection
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential
- Virginia State license to practice polysomnography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Compumedics sleep software
- Ability to work overnight shifts and manage adult patient population
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in outpatient sleep clinics
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system
