Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a general medical floor.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding patient safety and infection control.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including telemetry nursing.
• Certification in BLS and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Ability to interpret EKGs and manage dysrhythmias.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Telemetry and interpretation experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• IV start skills.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience in a fast-paced environment.
