Key Responsibilities
- Perform overnight ambulatory sleep studies for adult patients in a busy outpatient sleep clinic.
- Monitor, record, and analyze sleep patterns using Polysomnography equipment.
- Accurately document findings using Compumedics sleep software and Epic electronic health records.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the sleep study process.
- Collaborate with medical team to interpret sleep data and assist in diagnosis.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Virginia State license to practice polysomnography.
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with Compumedics sleep software.
- Knowledge of Epic electronic medical records system.
- Ability to work overnight on a scheduled block basis.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient sleep clinics.
- Familiarity with adult sleep patient population.
