Location: Edgewood, KY
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shift, 5x8 (6 am - 2 pm, Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cardiovascular surgeries, including minimally invasive cardiac procedures and standard CABG procedures.
- Assist with endoscopic and open vein harvesting.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of surgical equipment during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including travel experience.
- Certification as a CSFA (NBSTSA, ABSA, or NSAA).
- Credentialed in Medical Affairs (Privileging process to be completed during onboarding).
- BLS certification required.
- State license (Kentucky Certified Surgical Assistant - KCSA) if employed for longer than 2 years.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with EPIC charting systems.
- Familiarity with various vein harvesting techniques.
