Full-time, Night shifts (3/12's)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications, oversee IV starts, and manage continuous IV infusions including vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and stabilize patients with acute medical conditions.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as splinting, airway management, and infection control precautions.
• Document patient care accurately using Medi Tech system and communicate effectively using SBAR protocols.
• Support behavioral health needs, including managing violent behavior, psychiatric holds, and suicidal patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Proficient in medication administration, blood product handling, and emergency protocols.
• Experience with Medi Tech documentation system.
• Ability to interpret and manage arrhythmias and assist with emergency procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a community hospital setting.
• Knowledge of non-trauma emergency protocols and pediatric critical care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse patient demographic.
