Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 7a-7p, 16-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor and assess the condition of patients, responding promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support patients and families through labor and delivery processes with compassionate care.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Valid and current RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Knowledge of AWHONN standards and protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital setting within a similar capacity.
- Ability to work flexible holiday schedules, including major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) and at least one minor holiday.
