Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to adult patients.
- Monitor and recognize ECG rhythms, respond appropriately to cardiac events.
- Administer medications safely and efficiently, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
- Permitted Ohio RN license or valid license from a Compact state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
- Ability to provide a recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in charge nurse or supervisory roles preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Qualivis – Lotus.
