Tech MRI
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Mids (5x8s), Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, potential weekend on-call
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans adhering to safety and imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency needs
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- ARRT (MR) certification or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with Philips MRI equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety, including Radiation Badge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior experience working in a Level III Trauma facility
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Flexibility to work a block schedule if needed
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency response during hurricane season
