Job Title: Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Houma, LA
Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Assist in implementing patient treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Support patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience working as a PTA in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of therapy techniques and patient care procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
