Job Title: Therapist - Physical Therapist
Location: Valdez, AK
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility therapy services in a critical access hospital setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, function, and independence.
• Document patient progress and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the scope and acuity of various patient cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist applicable in the state of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in outpatient, acute care, or long-term care settings.
• Ability to work independently without on-call responsibilities.
• Willingness to work a 5x8 days schedule and accommodate a block schedule if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in critical access hospital or rural healthcare environments.
• Ability to handle diverse patient populations across outpatient, inpatient, and LTC/SNF settings.
