Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Step Down Unit, including titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, trach vents, arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes.
• Float within scope to support lower acuity floors as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Follow all safety protocols and provide compassionate patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri (pending licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside ICU or step-down experience.
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Experience with titration of vasopressors, sedation, insulin drips, and ventilator management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work a block schedule preferred.
• Experience in a similar acute care hospital environment.
