Registered Nurse - NICU

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level 4 or strong Level 3 NICU setting
- Monitor and manage neonatal vital signs, ventilators, and lines such as PICC, Broviacs, UAC, and G-Tubes
- Administer medications, including specialty gases, and perform line changes with multiple drips
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Floats within scope to related units, including PICU and CVICU, as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- CA Registered Nursing License
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU Level 4 experience or strong Level 3 surgical NICU experience
- BLS and Advanced NRP certifications
- Comfortable with ventilators, line management, and neonatal procedures
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible scheduling, including potential holiday shifts
- Must have own transportation
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Cardiac experience in neonatal care
- Experience with oscillators, conventional ventilators, and specialty lines
- Prior experience working in a Magnet-recognized hospital or teaching facility
