Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Muncie, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts / Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, including assessment and intervention.
• Administer blood products and manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and IVs.
• Conduct blood draws, phlebotomy, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical protocols and standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license to practice in Indiana.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with PCU/IMC/Stepdown units, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Proficiency in blood product administration, IV placement, PICC line management, and blood draws.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent relevant nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a hospital setting with intermediate and stepdown units.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring and procedures.
• Ability to work independently in night shift rotations.
