Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Muncie, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Nights / Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in Intensive Care, Progressive Care, or Stepdown units
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret rhythm strips to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, Blood Products, and IV therapies following hospital protocols
- Access and manage vascular devices including PICC lines and peripheral IVs
- Conduct phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana (or state permitted to work at the facility)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with blood product administration and IV line management
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a high-acuity setting such as ICU or Med-Surg
- Familiarity with perioperative, IR, PACU, or Cath Lab nursing (permitted for some travelers)
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
