Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on medical-surgical and telehealth units.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage drips, IV starts, port access, and arterial lines.
• Administer blood products and medications, including chemotherapy and symptom management.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, and maintain patient safety protocols.
• Document patient care using electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed, adapting to changing staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing central and PICC lines.
• Experience with blood product administration, port access, arterial line management, and IV starts.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including possible weekends and variable schedules.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Oncology experience is not required but considered a plus.
• Familiarity with B450 monitors, GE telemetry, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds.

Additional Notes:

• Contract duration up to 13 weeks with options for extension through 1/17, with preferred end dates around 1/3, 1/10, or 1/17 to support holiday coverage.
• Limited time off policy: max of 1 major holiday off, up to 7 days RTO, with no RTO within the first 2 weeks.
