Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Helena, MT
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts / Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a Trauma Level 4 facility.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Serve as a charge nurse when required, demonstrating leadership and preceptor skills.
• Assist in providing education and support to patients and their families.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of ER nursing experience.
• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Ability to serve as charge nurse and lead shift activities.
• Preceptor experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• NRP and ENPC certifications are a plus.
• Prior charge nurse experience.
