Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status utilizing advanced fetal monitoring and medical equipment.
- Assist with procedures including C-Sections, SVD, cerclages, and TOLAC.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
- Proficiency with fetal monitoring, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and night shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in a Level IV high-volume unit.
- Internal monitor placement competency.
- Experience with high-acuity obstetric procedures.
- Prior employment or assignments with HCA or similar institutions.
