Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 16-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for acute trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients in a fast-paced surgical unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure proper coverage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Participate in holiday coverage and every other weekend shifts as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse license for Alabama or a valid Compact license.
• AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a specialized unit.
• Must be willing to float between units and hospitals.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in trauma, orthopedic, or urology care.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong team collaboration skills.
