Registered Nurse - NICU

Full-time, 36 hours per week, Night shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Utilize patient care equipment, including EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies.
• Float to appropriate pediatric or PICU units as needed to support patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Indiana RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic charting and Pyxis medication systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a 31-bed NICU with low patient-to-staff ratios.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Details:

• Orientation scheduled Monday through Friday of the first week and Monday through Tuesday of the second week, all 8-hour days.
• Mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation.
• Uniform required: Caribbean blue scrubs.
• The unit utilizes a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and features 31 beds.
