Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Part-time or Full-time options available, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients aged 3 days to 18 years in a high-acuity PICU and general pediatric unit.
• Manage clinical procedures related to respiratory support, trauma, seizures, poisoning, and complex surgical cases; exclude burn injuries.
• Monitor and utilize equipment such as EPIC electronic charting systems and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support admissions, discharges, and family education within the pediatric ICU and pediatric floors.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric and PICU nursing.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Valid RN license in Indiana (compact or in-state).
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and medication systems.
• Experience working in a large, high-acuity facility preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• IV certification and skills are a plus.
• Prior experience in a facility with 400+ beds and Level 2 trauma designation.
• Ability to float to units like NICU when needed.
