Full-time, Night shifts (72 hours per pay period; three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized patient care based on medical diagnoses and patient needs.
• Monitor patient condition changes, record vital signs, labs, and responses to treatments, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Respond to life-threatening situations following established protocols and provide patient and family education.
• Administer medications safely, including IV therapy, and perform or assist with procedures as permitted.
• Maintain a safe environment, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Valid and active nursing license (State of Wisconsin or eligible for licensure transfer).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Knowledge of disease processes, treatments, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple patients effectively in a fast-paced environment.
