Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients on a neurosurgical and surgical unit.
• Monitor patient cardiac activity and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work two out of four major holidays and every other weekend as scheduled.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or teaching facility.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required prior to start).
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended.
• Experience working in large, teaching hospitals.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with neurosurgical and surgical patient care.
• Ability to work variable shifts; no block scheduling.
• Knowledge of hospital bed management and facility operations.
