Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care, injury prevention, and response during athletic events and after-school activities at a high school.
• Conduct injury assessments, evaluations, and create treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Manage concussion assessments, symptom monitoring, and supervise return-to-play protocols.
• Document evaluations and treatments, and communicate findings with athletes, parents, and coaches.
• Perform functional assessments, post-offer employment tests, and job-specific conditioning to support safe return to activity.
• Serve as a physician extender in the orthopedic clinic, assisting with histories, scheduling, and patient education.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Valid Athletic Trainer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
• Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
• Current driver's license and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal examinations, concussion management, emergency care, and occupational health.
• Excellent attention to detail, computer proficiency, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a school or athletic setting.
• Familiarity with occupational health and injury prevention strategies.
