Full-time, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and administer medications and interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems.
- Respond effectively to critical situations and emergencies.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, including compliance and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Pass/Fail EKG exam required by the facility.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; flexibility for 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience.
- PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital policies regarding tardiness and absenteeism.
