Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine their physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
• Utilize clinical judgment to identify and report changes in patient conditions.
• Contribute to a positive and professional workplace environment through effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and participate in ongoing education.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Relevant experience in operating room or related units preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in perioperative nursing or surgical environments.
• Familiarity with critical care or step-down units.
• Certification in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and neonatal resuscitation (NRP) is a plus.
