Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Primary Purpose:
The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supports the implementation of speech and language services for students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLPA works in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Pay: Starting at $35/hr

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in SLPA
- FL SLPA License (FLBSLPA)
- Experience working in a charter school setting.
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies.
- Experience with cognitive and adaptive assessments.
- Assess and treat students with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, implement, and modify speech and language treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and adaptive assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- School-based setting with occasional travel
- Requires standing, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 45 lbs.)
- Must handle interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress.
