Schedule / Job Type: Days, Travel, Contract, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and support surgical teams during procedures in the main operating room.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterile conditions.
• Manage and maintain surgical equipment, including robotics, vascular, and transplant tools.
• Follow unit policies and protocols, including adherence to safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Document procedure details and assist with post-operative care as applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical experience, with experience in transplant or spine procedures preferred.
• Must have DORA and NBSTSA certification.
• Availability for 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, with call duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and support complex procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with transplant surgeries (kidney, liver) and spine procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Knowledge of robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics procedures.
