Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative nursing care, including patient assessment and preparation for surgery.
- Administer IV therapies and medications, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient status pre- and post-operation, collaborating with surgical teams.
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system.
- Follow unit-specific policies and protocols to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Participate in weekend call rotations as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or ability to obtain.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience, preferably in preoperative or perioperative settings.
- Strong assessment, IV insertion, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with Cerner documentation system.
- Familiarity with surgical procedures and perioperative patient care.
- Previous experience in a hospital with advanced technology and team-based care.

Note: This is a travel RN position with a 13-week assignment scheduled to start on September 22, 2025. Open to qualified candidates with a minimum of two years of experience and appropriate certifications.
