Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Webster, TX

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment; Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings using wireless bedside monitors.
• Administer medications and perform treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to unit policies, including bedside shift reports and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Texas or state-specific license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience within cardiac or telemetry units.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems; Meditech preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to rotational scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ACLS certification.
• Prior experience on telemetry units.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, coachable attitude and strong clinical judgment.
