Full-time, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for adult patients in the IMU/PCU/Stepdown units, including post-operative and cardiac patients.
• Administer and monitor IV cardiac medications such as Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Cardene, and IV Insulin.
• Interpret basic ECG rhythms and manage continuous BiPAP ventilation.
• Assist with procedures including ultrasound IV insertions and paracentesis.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Meditech) for documentation and care planning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficient care delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with IV cardiac drips (Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Cardene, IV Insulin).
• Knowledge of ECG rhythm interpretation.
• Experience managing patients on continuous BiPAP and high-flow oxygen systems.
• Ability to float to other medical/surgical units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Background in acute cardiac care, stroke, or respiratory care.
• Experience performing ultrasound IV insertions and other procedures.
• Previous experience in a large, fast-paced hospital setting.

• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

• Equipment used: Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machine, Dash Bedside Monitor, Telemetry, BiPAP.
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs.
• Location: Conroe, Texas, at a reputable healthcare facility.
• Travel RN position with immediate start, projected for August 4, 2025.
