Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans using Siemens equipment, including Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, and Vida.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, including IV starts and image post-processing.
• Support outpatient and inpatient imaging needs, including ER, trauma, NICU, and adult ICU cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet diagnostic objectives within scope of practice.
• Maintain proper documentation in electronic medical records (EPIC).

Required Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification (must have ARRT MR in hand to submit).
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical MRI experience.
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required.
• IV start skills and familiarity with PACS preferred.
• Valid license or pending license accepted.
• Willingness to work evenings and one Saturday per month, one holiday per rotation, no call.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, ER, trauma, NICU, and adult ICU MRI scans.
• Knowledge of imaging techniques: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal.
• Proficiency with advanced imaging sequences: CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo, Perfusion, Spectroscopy, surface coils, T1/T2-weighted images.
• Ability to work with multiple software packages.
• Experience supporting teaching or trauma hospitals is a plus.
