• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
• 13 to 26-week contract opportunities
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor cardiac patients in a stepdown unit, including post-cardiac cath and post-surgical care
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Milrinone, and Dopamine
• Manage invasive procedures including sheath pulls, TR band application, and Femstop usage
• Interpret dysrhythmias and remote cardiac monitoring
• Access ports, administer blood products, and manage central lines and PICC lines
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during high-acuity cardiac care
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of RN experience in cardiac telemetry or stepdown units
• Experience with telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC, or similar high-acuity units
• Ability to interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias, including passing EKG testing prior to onboarding
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with pre/post cardiac cath, sheath removals, and cardiac drips management required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Certification in NIH or similar advanced cardiac life support certification

Additional Information
• Nurse staffing ratios: 1:6-7
• Must work 5-6 weekends every other week
• Float and storm team responsibilities may be assigned during emergencies or disasters
• Conformance to unit-specific orientation and compliance with facility policies required
