Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to cardiac and neuro patients in the CVICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• Experience with cardiac and neuro patients.
• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at time of submission).
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
• Epic charting experience at a level 3 or 4.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within a teaching hospital or Level Trauma facility.
• Ability to adapt to float within scope across multiple hospital locations.
• Nicotine-free status and negative 10 Panel drug screening required.
