Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs in a telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed health records.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and coordinate with the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Provide compassionate patient care and education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of ECG interpretation and cardiovascular patient monitoring.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous night shift experience in a hospital setting.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
