Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state nursing license (or ability to obtain).
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but first-timers accepted.
- Ability to be on-call as required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in labor and delivery or maternal/newborn care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic).
- Flexibility to float between units if necessary.
