Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to adult patients in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed
- Administer medications, IVs, and perform starting IVs with proficiency
- Monitor patient vitals and responses, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to hospital policies, including compliance with BCLS and ACLS certification requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar unit
- Current BCLS and ACLS certification
- Experience with IV starts and telemetric monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Cardiac experience, especially in a lower acuity cardiac setting
- Prior experience floating between related units
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
