Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PACU

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, days shift (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and anesthesia effects, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient assessment and discharge planning.
• Follow established protocols and documentation procedures using Mosaiq and Meditech systems.
• Support patient comfort and address immediate postoperative needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana Radiation Therapy License (or eligible for temporary licensure).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
• Prior experience with Mosaiq system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, including EBRT/IMRT treatments and simulations.
• Experience working with Varian Linacs and GE Lightspeed CT equipment.
• Familiarity with simulation procedures and patient documentation systems.
