Job Title
- Surgical Technician (CVOR CST)

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Contract, 13-week assignment, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular operating room procedures, including CABG, thoracotomy, endovascular AAA, valve replacements, and pacemaker surgeries
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure proper equipment setup for surgical cases
- Support surgical team during procedures, including scrubbing and instrument handling
- Adhere to OR dress code and safety protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system (Meditech)
- Flexibly float between OR areas as needed, supporting patient care and surgical flow
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Prior CVOR surgical experience (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to scrub in cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, and thoracotomy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous CVOR operating room experience with scrubbing responsibilities
- Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced OR environment
